As I am writing this, I am reflecting on Sneaky Pete Saturday. We had the priviledge to feed 50 people over a 2 hour period. We made new friends and had a chance to pray with some who are needing a fresh touch from our Lord Jesus. Days like this cannot be planned and executed by one person. We were blessed that we had plenty of help to make the day a success. Cathy Johnson was there early and stayed late supporting our efforts. Linda Webb, as always, made sure the Community Center was open and ready for our event. Our friends at Sneaky Pete’s made sure that we had “more than enough” and reminded me of how some people really want to make a difference in the community. Our House2Hope regulars helped serve, clean up and showed true hospitality to our guests. Last but not least, I am thankful that the presence of the Lord was there and continues to bless our efforts at the apartments at Brookside Village.Â
To make a long story short, I am humbled at the things we see our Lord doing and are excited about what is to come. If you live in the apartments or have friends that are there, be sure to remind them that they are always welcome at House2Hope on Wednesday nights!Â
Looking forward to seeing you there!
